Jeremy Mitchell, Managing Director

Our managing director, Jeremy Mitchell TEP, has extensive experience in legal practice and trustee services, and brings invaluable expertise and leadership to our team.

Jeremy is qualified as a solicitor in both Ireland and England and Wales. Before relocating to Ireland in 1998, he was a partner in a prominent London-based law firm and spent time in New York working with a specialised practice of private client attorneys, where he provided trustee services to private clients and foundations.

In 2002 Jeremy joined a leading independent pension trustee and administration group in Dublin, where he played a pivotal role in establishing and leading the legal, tax, and pensions advisory practice. From 2012 Jeremy spearheaded the development of the group’s private trustee services business.

Jeremy founded Bay Trustees in 2022, driven by his commitment to delivering high-quality trustee services tailored to client needs. His dedication to excellence and client satisfaction remains at the forefront of our operations and his practical, responsive approach and breadth of knowledge have made him trusted and respected by our clients.

Paul Gilmer, Non-Executive Director

Paul Gilmer TEP has been a non-executive director at Bay Trustees since 2022. With a diverse background in law, financial planning and wealth management, Paul brings a wealth of expertise and experience to the company.

A member of the Law Society of Ireland and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Paul’s industry knowledge and experience have contributed significantly to shaping Bay Trustees’ strategic direction and decision-making processes. Although not directly involved in day-to-day operations, Paul’s strategic insights and guidance play a crucial role in ensuring the company’s continued success.

Yann Harrison, Non-Executive Director

Yann Harrison TEP has been an integral member of Bay Trustees’ trustee committee since its inception and was appointed to the board as a non-executive director in early 2025 to help guide the company’s ongoing growth.

As well as being a Trust & Estate Practitioner (TEP), Yann is a Chartered Accountant (FCA), Chartered Tax Consultant (CTC), Qualified Financial Adviser (QFA) and Retirement Planning Adviser (RPA).

Previously, Yann served as a director of wealth management at a nationwide accounting firm. In 2021, he founded Highfield Private Clients, where he provides expert advice to other professional firms and clients on estate and succession planning strategies, wealth protection, and retirement planning.

In addition to his professional practice, Yann is a popular lecturer. He teaches on the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) diploma course, and has also lectured for the Irish Taxation Institute and other professional bodies.

Claire Wall, Trust Officer

Claire Wall joined Bay Trustees’ team in 2024, bringing with her a wealth of legal expertise and a strong educational background. She holds a Law Degree from University College Dublin (BCL European) and qualified as a solicitor in Ireland in 2016.

With a broad range of legal experience, Claire is well-equipped to provide exceptional trust services to our family trust clients in her Trust Officer role. Her comprehensive understanding of legal principles and dedication to client service make her a valuable addition to our team.
